This is a blog focusing on tools and skills that sharpen and enhance the power and efficiency or our minds. Below, you’ll find mind tune up tips #1 thru #10.
In those moments when you forget what you went out to the kitchen or bedroom for, the next time say..I intend to get a glass of water or I intend to get my phone, keys etc…I have been using this and it really helps the mind to remember what you want it to.
The mind will achieve goals when set with active, positive words and intention. Also the mind works well with symbols.
So since it is the beginning of 2013, I always set goals for the year that are possible, achievable and desirable.
So everyone write up some goals somewhere between 3-10 that we can meet this year and add a symbol that represents these goals. Mine is an eagle because many of my goals with my practice and life give me freedom; more time, money, energy, love…you got the picture lol.

DESIRE – the starting point of all achievement (Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill)
When you want something all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. (The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho)
In order to be effective, you must know the effect you want and be aware of the effect you are having.
Connection is a magnet you can use to affect yours and others energy level, mood, outlook, and behavior.

Tonight I will start with a part one of a 5 part self-confidence formula,
First: I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life; therefore, I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action. (by Napoleon Hill)
I am becoming more aware of my everyday thoughts. I stop and think about the mental energy in my life. I consciously choose thoughts that create trust, harmony, and peace of mind.
I live with an abundance consciousness. I focus on all the wonderful things in my life, and I am open to receiving more. (by Sandra Anne Taylor)
Second: I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transform themselves into physical reality; therefore, I will concentrate my thoughts for thirty minutes daily, upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creating in my mind a clear mental picture. (by Napoleon Hill)
Every day I choose to spend some peaceful time in silence. I am comfortable in the quiet all around me.
I speak my truth in clear and confident tones. I express myself and ask for what I want, knowing that I deserve to be heard.
I listen to the joyful sounds in my life-and I thank the Universe in whispers of praise.
Every day I affirm my life-and myself-in a loving voice.
(by Sandra Anne Taylor)
Third: I know through the principle of autosuggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression through some practical means of attaining the object back of it; therefore, I will devote ten minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of self-confidence. (by Napoleon Hill)
I am becoming a truly powerful person. I set boundaries and take action on my own behalf.
I have the right and responsibility to maintain my power and make decisions in my own life.
As I live in my personal power, I become more and more conscious of my own needs. I am more self-directed and self-actualized each day.
I have the courage and strength to become the driving force in my own life. Every day my personal power grows.
(Sandra Anne Taylor)
Self-Confidence Formula, Fourth: I have clearly written down a description of my definite chief aim in life, and I will never stop trying, until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment. (by Napoleon Hill)
All that I am conscious of becomes a part of my reality. I focus on the qualities and feelings I desire. Today I choose to bring a greater conscious of abundance, balance, peace, love, laughter and enthusiasm to my life. I intend to enjoy my present experiences. I feel a sense of fulfillment and purpose in my everyday life. (by Sandra Taylor)
Fifth: I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice; therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself.
I will sign my name to this formula, commit it to memory, and repeat it aloud once a day, with full faith that it will gradually influence my thoughts and actions so that I will become a self-reliant, and successful person. (by Napoleon Hill)
For things to change you must change.
