Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is an integrative and holistic approach designed to clear painful emotional responses, and is particularly effective in clearing anxiety and the negative effects of grief or past trauma. RRT is more effective than other approaches because it gently integrates the cognitive part of the mind with the emotional part in a way that calms the emotions, relaxes the body, and increases clear thoughts and actions.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), EMDR uses bi-lateral stimulation to help the logical area of the brain to work with the emotional area of the brain where trauma is stored. This removes the emotion and its effects out of a memory. You will still remember what happened, but the memory will no longer be so painful…it will become ‘just’ a fact about your life.
Hypnotherapy uses a natural state of relaxation to connect with your subconscious mind. This connection enables the changing of unwanted habits and behaviors. Also, during this relaxed state your mind is capable of heightened focus in order to tap into your full potential. This allows you to find solutions and gain useful insight.
Whole Brain Therapy
Whole brain therapy is a concept inspired by new information from neuroscience about the different functions of our cognitive brain (frontal cortex), and our emotional brain (limbic system). Our cognitive brain uses analysis, introspection, etc.; while our emotional brain uses fear, anger, etc. By utilizing techniques that work with the whole brain, we can create lasting change.

There are many forms of grief: death of a loved one, divorce, relationship breakup, loss of health, losing a job, etc. Grief can be all consuming and drain your energy, leaving you feeling stuck and unable to move forward with life. I use techniques that help you connect with your loved ones and positive resources available in your life. Read more about how I will support and guide you from grief to peace.
Heartbreak can be so intense you feel it physically or it can be a mild dull ache that becomes obsessive in wanting things back the way they were or fixated in anger/rage at the cause of the heartbreak. Heartbreak can cause panic because you may feel alone and it is not the way you planned it. I use RRT and hypnotherapy to disconnect the seeking of what is no longer possible (the person/relationship) and turn it toward connections that are possible, beneficial and appealing. Read more about how I will clear heartbreak by adding connection and playfulness to your life.
